Publii News: New plugin available

A new plugin for Publii has arrived: LiveChat, a solution for your website visitors to chat in real-time.

Live chat is an online communication app that allows you and your website visitors to chat in real-time. It’s a great alternative to phone calls or emails. All you have to do is click the Live Chat link on your website, type a message in the chat box and send it. It's a great solution for anybody who runs a company and is looking for a simple, scalable, and cost-effective way to answer customer queries and provide better service.

Plugin Features

• Simple to configure; all it needs is your License Number.
• Fallback messages help inform users when they have disabled scripts in their browser or have a browser that doesn’t support scripts.
• Integrate cookie consents into the existing Publii cookie banner to ensure users can get to live chat ASAP.

How to install a plugin in Publii

Click on the 3-dot-menu in the upper right corner of Publii's main screen:

Then, after downloading the plugin's zip file at the plugin's page of the Publii marketplace, click on the Install plugin button and choose the downloaded zip file.

You're done. Access your freshly installed plugin via the sidebar's Tools & Plugins entry.
Clicking on a plugin opens the plugin's configuration screen.
